Many Glacier Grannies enjoy creating crafts and products (see photo gallery) that are sold at Comox Valley craft fairs and events. Others enjoy selling the products at our booths. A group meets regularly to exchange ideas and make items for sale, and welcome new members.
The craft makers meet at Comox United Church, 250 Beach Drive, from 12:45 to 2:45 on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from September to May. For more information, please email the Glacier Grannies.
The angel makers will take special orders, usually using jewelry or fabrics of sentimental significance.
For information on events and locations where our crafts are being sold, see Upcoming events or email: Glacier Grannies. Use this link if you would like to purchase items directly from us.

In 2006 Dave Talbot started our angel making group after seeing angels made by a Victoria group. From 2006 to 2023 our group has sold 8,467 angels. Each angel is hand made, unique and is given a traditional African name in memory of a child who has died of AIDS.
