Title: Hope in a Bead
Africa produces beautiful beads and jewellery and particularly impressive is Kazuri Jewellery, a Fair Trade Company in Kenya selling their products internationally (kazuri is the Swahili word for small and beautiful).
As a Glacier Granny I am committed to aiding African grandmothers in their struggle to change their lives, and beading would be a suitable occupation for older women.
