One Rhythm at a Time
Title: Feel the Beat
After talking to people who have visited parts of Africa, and after watching several videos, I couldn't get over how the women there break into song and dance so readily and seem to celebrate their being and togetherness.
Many of the African grandmothers belong to support groups and their sense of community is contagious. I felt compelled to join in their happy celebration by dancing in my home.
Take a moment to imagine their singing and hand clapping, and picture yourself dancing with these amazing ladies. "Feel the beat", their joy and celebration as they support each other.
