"Stitching Brighter Tomorrows", celebrates the commitment made by the Ugandan Bitengye designers to learn a marketable skill.
It is amazing how, with small individual contributions of money and supplies from many Canadian quilters, plus the skilled tutelage and dedication of the Kitambaa Project founder, Pippa Moore, and her helpers, Joan Darling and Trudy Thorne, these twelve women have turned the tide towards a bright future for their families.
