One Village at a Time
Title: Village Songs and Stories
Some members of our Victoria group have visited African villages and come back with heart-warming as well as heart-wrenching tales of courage and joy.
Even though there are food shortages, a lack of clean water, few educational opportunities and material goods are scarce, the African grannies and their grand kids still support each other as best they can.
Seeing pictures of grannies and their grand kids singing, dancing, and supporting each other in spite of their situation, was a real eye-opener for me.
