One Wish at a Time
Title: Moontide
The ropes extending from the moon, through the sky to the earth, represent the superhuman efforts of the grandmothers in Africa to turn the tide.
The four circles on the earth show embroidered scenes of the everyday struggle the grandmothers have to provide the necessities of life, LOVE, WATER, FOOD, SHELTER, and CLOTHING, to their grandchildren, families and communities.
Globally, we need to do more to provide the means!
